Tech group, Shenick Network Systems, today said it is expanding its presence in both California's Silicon Valley and in its Dublin operations.
The US office, headed by Shenick's CTO, Kevin Glavin will support the company's developing business in the U.S. in particular, customers of its new virtualised software, which targets the rapidly developing market for cloud-based testing. The Silicon Valley office will serve as a base for Shenick's U.S. team of sales engineers, development engineers and support staff.
Shenick is also increasing the size of its Dublin office and is actively hiring.
"The rapid move towards virtualization and cloud services coupled with a strong base in IP network testing opens new and significant market opportunities for Shenick," said Alan Robinson, CEO, Shenick Network Systems. "Shenick's customers include the worlds leading telcos, cable MSOs and network equipment manufacturers and we are pleased to be able to support them directly with a team of experts in virtualized IP communications test systems, located right in the heart of Silicon Valley."
"Shenick recently announced that it's diversifEye VM, a virtual, per-flow, high performance test solution for cloud computing environments, now gives service providers and network equipment manufacturers the ability to emulate and analyze real-time IP traffic in cloud environments for multiple hypervisors including Xen, ESXi, KVM and Hyper-V right down to each individual application flow. For any company that deploys networks in the cloud, the end result is virtualized network performance that is more reliable with greater visibility of any quality-of-service and end-user experience issues."
