The Dublin Stock Exchange closed slightly lower today with a 9.61 point decline (0.3 of 1pc) in the ISEQ Overall Index to 3,144.45. Financial stocks were up 1pc on average. Permanent TSB gained 1c or 4pc to 26c after releasing interim results this morning. Other movers today were Glanbia which jumped 38c to E6.38 after it announced a complex joint venture with Glanbia Co-op on its dairy processing facilities. DCC was another big mover with a 28.5c gain to E20.40. C and C added 2c to E3.61 while ICG added 20c to E16.00 and Kerry gained 38c to $43.50. So why the fall in the index with such solid gains. Answer: CRH the market heavyweight which fell 14c to E14.285.
