McGettigan London property for sale

Tuesday, February 12 10:37:12

Gillette Corner, a landmark building complex in central London bought in 2005 for £30 million by Donegal developer Jim McGettigan's Bonnington Group is being put on the market by NAMA.

The selling agents, Savills and Mason Owen and Lyons said Gillette Corner is prominently located just off the Great West Road (A4) in Isleworth, approximately eight miles from Central London.

The triangle site extends to 10.25 acres (4.17 hectares) and includes a main building totalling circa 327,000 sq ft (30,378 sq m) and features a Grade II listed building with prominent landmark clock tower, as well as several storage and warehouse buildings, taking the total existing uses to circa 500,000 sq ft (46,450 sq m).

Planning permission has previously been granted by Hounslow Council for complete redevelopment of the site, including office, hotel and restaurant use. However, subject to planning, the site may also be suitable for an alternative scheme including residential, leisure, industrial or distribution.
