Dublin Aerospace win A Lingus contract

Aircraft maintenance group, Dublin Aerospace, today announced that it has concluded a contract with Aer Lingus for the provision of Auxilary Power Unit (APU) maintenance services on its long haul fleet of A330 aircraft.

The maintenance services carried out under this contract covers Aer Lingus's fleet for a duration of 5 years starting from the 1st May 2012.

Following the contract signing Dominic Ryan, Aer Lingus Director of Maintenance and Engineering said: "Dublin Aerospace has been selected as the service provider for APU's on our long haul fleet following a very competitive tendering process. We've been satisfied customers of Dublin Aerospace for over 2 years and are delighted to extend this positive working relationship".

Commenting on the selection of Dublin Aerospace by Aer Lingus, Donal Rogers, CEO, stated that "Dublin Aerospace are delighted to have been chosen as Aer Lingus's provider of maintenance services on its Auxiliary Power Units for its long haul fleet of Airbus A330's. Dublin Aerospace's flexibility and competiveness on this contract will enable Aer Lingus to achieve industry leading costs and performance in these critical maintenance areas."
