Dublin-headquartered discount fashion retailer, Primark, today said it opened two new stores this week, one in Spain and one in the UK, and will open a further five stores throughout Europe during September.
The company, which trades as Pennys in Ireland, said the expansion will culminate with the unveiling of Primark's first store in Austria at the end of the month.
"We are delighted to open more stores in Spain and the UK, where the Primark brand is thriving due to our fashion credibility and recession-friendly prices. Our new Oxford Street store is going to be a state-of-the-art, flagship Primark store and we are really looking forward to entering the Austrian market later this month, which will bring our total number of outlets to 246 across eight countries," Primark said.
