Aer Lingus sign deal with Air Canada

Aer Lingus and Air Canada announced today an interline agreement that will simplify the ticketing process for those flying between Ireland and Canada.

The two airlines have implemented an Interline E-Ticketing Agreement. Customers flying with Aer Lingus and Air Canada are now able to enjoy the additional flexibility and ease offered by using a single electronic ticket.

The Interline ET agreement also allows customers to use both carriers' check-in kiosks and to check their baggage through to their final destinations.

Stephen Kavanagh, Aer Lingus Chief Commercial Officer, said: "We are delighted to announce this new partnership. We look forward to working closely with Air Canada to provide our customers with seamless travel options between Ireland and Canada."

"We also look forward to deepening our relationship with Aer Lingus through a code share agreement in the first quarter of 2013 to further improve our customers' travel experience."
