Radio Systems Corporation is setting up its new European head office in Dundalk, The move will result in the creation of 56 new jobs over the next three years. The investment is supported by IDA Ireland. The company said its Radio Systems PetSafe Europe division will base its European multilingual customer services centre, finance, order management, supply chain and human resources departments in Dundalk by the start of next year.
Of the 56 jobs being created over the next three years 25 will be hired for by end of December, the company said. The company is the industry leader in pet containment systems, training systems and bark control solutions. It introduced the first do-it-yourself electronic fence to the pet market in 1991 and the first wireless fence in 1998.
''A key part of the Government's plan for jobs and growth is deepening and developing the impact of multinational companies here, particularly in regional locations,'' the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton commented.
