No Frills airline, Ryanair, today said that it carried 8pc more passengers in September than the same month a year ago.
It carried 7.84 million travellers in the month, the sixth month in succession that Ryanair has carried over seven million passengers - including a record 8.9 million in August of this year.
In the twelve months to the end of September, 79.07 million people flew Ryanair, it said.
The airline's load factor - an industry wide measure of how well airlines fill their aircraft - fell 1pc to 84pc while the year to data load factor stood at 82pc.
