Futures point European markets down

European stock index futures pointed to a lower start today, with weaker commodity prices on persistent concerns about global economic growth seen hitting mining and energy shares.

At 0602 GMT, futures for Euro STOXX 50, Germany's DAX and France's CAC were 0.1 to 0.3 percent lower. ( C) Reuters
