Officials from the European Union, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund have concluded the eighth review of Ireland's financial rescue programme. Minister for Finance Michael Noonan and Minster for Public Expenditure and Reform Brendan Howlin will outline the Troika's findings at a news conference this afternoon. They are expected to say that Ireland continues to meet the targets that have been set, particularly on containing the budget deficit.
