YapStone International, a provider of web and mobile payment solutions, will provide 120 new positions at its new IDA-supported European and Middle East headquarters in Drogheda. Recruitment will begin immediately in a number of areas including customer support, software engineering and finance. The announcement was made today in California.
The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, and IDA Ireland's chief executive Barry O'Leary met with YapStone founders, Matthew Golis and Tom Villante. The announcement forms part of a week-long programme of events with current and prospective IDA clients in Seattle, San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles. "A key part of the Government's plans for jobs and growth is to attract more multinational companies to Ireland, and e-commerce and payments technology offers particular potential for employment creation,'' the Minister said.
