Skoda has continued its drive to become a Top 5 best-selling car brand in Ireland with the announcement today that it has signed on five new dealerships for its network across Munster and Leinster.
The five new dealerships chosen for their strategic importance in high population centres include Boland's in Carlow, Sheehy Motor Group in Naas Co Kildare, Frank Hogan Motors in Limerick, Western Motors in Drogheda Co Louth and J Donohue Motors in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.
In addition to the dealership expansion, Skoda today also announced its latest innovative sales incentive programme for Irish motorists. In conjunction with Applegreen, Ireland's largest independent forecourt retailer, Skoda has launched a unique fuel card offer for Irish motorists, guaranteeing them a set price for fuel in 2013.
Anyone who orders a new car before the 17th November 2012 will receive a fuel card capping the price of fuel at 99c a litre for the year ahead, Skoda Ireland said.

"Our latest incentive scheme in conjunction with Applegreen is our way of helping Irish motorists with the ever increasing burden of fuel costs. All our new SKODA's are extremely fuel efficient and will deliver annual fuel costs savings, however customers who order a new SKODA before the 17th November can reduce their costs even further with a 99c per litre price guarantee on fuel for 2013!"
The new dealerships bring its nationwide footprint to 25 dealerships.
Headquartered in Dublin, Skoda Ireland supports 200 employees and has increased its market share in Ireland by 1.1pc to 6.2pc during 2012.
