Bus and Rail fares to increase

The National Transport Authority has confirmed that it will be announcing bus and rail fair increases later today. Prices for tickets bought with cash, LEAP fares and pre-paid ticket prices are due to increase from 1 December. This will apply to travellers using Bus Eireann, Irish Rail, Luas and Dublin Bus services. A spokesperson confirmed that this is the second phase of fare increases.
