Wednesday, December 12 07:52:26

Thirty new highly-skilled jobs are to be created in Dublin with the opening of a software development centre by a leading global e-reading company. Kobo has 10 million users across 190 countries worldwide. Its service is built on an open platform, allowing consumers to purchase and read eBooks on virtually all mainstream smartphones, computers, tablets and eReaders.

The new Dublin technology centre will provide software development support for all worldwide Kobo partners. Kobo was acquired in 2012 by the Tokyo-based Rakuten, Japan's largest e-commerce company, and is the third largest e-commerce marketplace in the world
