CPL resources comes in 31pc ahead

Dublin and London listed CPL Resources has reported pre-tax profits of E5.9m for the six months to the end of December.

This marked a 31pc increase on the same time in 2011. The company said its revenues for the six month period rose by 13pc to E161.7m. The company said that while it is pleased with the results, it stressed that conditions remain challenging.
