Employers group, IBEC, today said that the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso is to address the IBEC CEO Conference later this month.
It takes place on Thursday 28 February in the Convention Centre, Dublin and President Barroso will join the Taoiseach Enda Kenny, along with Irish and international business leaders, at the country's premier business event.
The conference is sponsored by PwC and supported by communications partner eircom.
Other high-profile speakers at the event include Leif Johansson, Chairman of Ericsson and the European Roundtable of Industrialists; Pierre Pringuet, CEO of Pernod Ricard; Herb Hribar, CEO of eircom; Gary McGann CEO of Smurfit Kappa; Thomas Leysen, Chairman, KBC Group NV and Myles Lee, Chief Executive Officer, CRH.
