IMC: Wexford potential 6.5km gold zone

IMC Exploration Group has identified a potential 6.5km long mineralised gold zone identified in one of the company's licencing areas in Wexford.

The company announced these additional encouraging results from the most recent drilling programme in Wexford Licence PL2551. IMC will continue its comprehensive exploration programme over this unexplored area during the coming months in order to further define the extent of the mineralised zone, it said today.

Dr. Glenn Millar, Managing Director of IMC, commented "We are delighted that successive drilling to date has continually reinforced the exploration potential of this licence area, culminating in the outlining of a potential 6.5km long zone of mineralization. IMC is dedicated to delimiting this zone through further exploration. IMC's ambitious exploration programmes are consistently producing extremely positive results, allowing us to continue to expand our activity at an increased pace."

The company recently announced that they had been awarded the historic Avoca Mine licence, bringing to a total of four the number of explorations licence areas the company holds in Wicklow.
