BoI boss paid E843,000 in 2012

Chief executive of Bank of Ireland, Richie Boucher, was paid a total of E843,000 in salary and bonuses last year compared to E831,000 the year before, the bank's annual report showed today.

This was comprised of a basic salary of E690,000 plus E34,000 in "other remuneration" and E186,000 in pension contributions.

Mr Boucher waived E67,000 of his take home pay in the year, the report shows.

Anthony Keating, chief financial officer appointed in February 2012, received E418,000.
