Around 260 new jobs are to be created at technology companies Yahoo and McAfee. Yahoo plans to hire over 200 people for its Dublin operations centre over the next year, in the areas of customer support, technology, HR, finance and operations.
Meanwhile, security software firm McAfee will create around 60 engineering jobs at its centre in Cork. Taoiseach Enda Kenny will formally announce the jobs in California later today, which he is visiting as part of a three day visit to the US west coast. Both expansions are supported by the IDA according to RTE News.
