A new magazine for Chinese tourists and business travellers visiting Ireland has been launched by BusinessinChina.ie. Huan Ying Ireland (huan ying means welcome in Chinese), provides information on Top Tourist Attractions, City Highlights, Luxury Shopping, Gift Guide, Fine Dining & Eating Out Guide, Entertainment & Nightlife, Festivals & Cultural Events Listing as well as Useful Tips, Information and Maps for Chinese Tourists.
Each issue also includes a number of special feature articles such as Irish Craft and Design; Studying in Ireland; Doing Business in Ireland; as well as feature articles written by Chinese Tourists about their travels around Ireland.
The launch of Huan Ying could not be more timely as China has recently overtaken Germany and the USA as the world's biggest spenders on travel. Tourism Ireland is targeting an increase of Chinese tourists to Ireland from 17,000 in 2012 to 50,000 per year over the coming five years.
Announcing the official launch of the magazine, Lord Mayor of Dublin, Oisin Quinn, welcomed the initiative, "Huan Ying is a fantastic publication and will be of great benefit not only to Dublin and Ireland and to the many Irish people and businesses in the tourism, hospitality and retail sector".
