European stocks fell on Thursday, hitting seven-week lows, as investors fretted about the risk of deflation in the euro zone while healthy U.S. economic data fuelled concern the Federal Reserve may soon start reducing its stimulus.
Aer Lingus today said that its flown passenger numbers, including Aer Lingus Regional operations, decreased by 5pc to 728,000 in November 2013 compared to November 2012. Short haul flown passengers, including Aer Lingus Regional, in November 2013 were 647,000, a decrease of 4.7pc on November 2012, while long haul flown passengers in November 2013 were 81,000, a decrease of 6.9pc on November 2012. Aer Lingus mainline's flown passenger load factor in November 2013 decreased by 3.3 points on November 2012 to 73.3pc. Short haul flown load factor was 68.6pc, a decrease of 1.9 points on November 2012, with capacity decreasing 3.5pc. Long haul flown load factor was 80.0pc, a decrease of 5.7 points on November 2012, with capacity increasing 0.8pc on prior year. Shares fell 3c to E1.31.
