Japanese-based global technology group, Fujitsu, is to create 192 new jobs in Derry.
The investment at the Derry office comes a week after the First and Deputy First Ministers visited Japan on a trade mission designed to attract more jobs to the North. During the visit, Martin McGuinness met with the overall president of Fujitsu, Masami Yamamoto, the Derry Journal reported today.
The jobs boost will double the workforce at the firm's Derry office. Fujitsu established its office in Derry in 2007 and employs more than 180 staff there.
