Irish-listed property investment group, Green REIT, today responded to media speculation that it is seeking a new cash pile for a major spending programme, saying it is "considering all funding options.
The statement said that Green REIT, together with its partners - US real estate giant Kennedy Wilson, has been selected as preferred bidder by the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) regarding the potential acquisition of a portfolio of commercial real estate known as Central Park, located in Dublin.
The deal could be worth around E310m.
"This acquisition will be financed from existing Company resources alongside its funding partner PIMCO," it said.
"The Company is always considering its funding options including debt, equity and joint ventures, as would be expected in the ordinary course of business. The Company will update the market as and when it is appropriate," it added.
