Dublin-headquartered discount clothing chain, Primark, today said it has opened a second outlet on the outskirts of Paris as it builds up its continental presence.
It opened its second store in the suburb of Villeneuve la Garenne, less than two weeks after the city welcomed the brand's debut store, in Aulnay-sous-Bois.
The opening is Primark's fourth in France, and brings the total number of stores to 271 across nine countries.
Located in the new Qwartz shopping centre, the store covers 3,400 square metres and has created over 400 new jobs.
A Primark spokesperson said: "We are delighted to open a second store in the Paris region at Qwartz, the first connected shopping centre in the area with ultra-modern facilities to make the user experience unique. Primark received such a warm welcome for its openings in Marseille, Dijon and Aulnay-sous-Bois Paris, so we are now very excited to share our love for fashion with people who live in Villeneuve la Garenne, Paris and the surrounding area."
