United's 2nd Dublin-New York service

Friday, June 06 15:31:27

United Airlines today launched a second daily nonstop service between Dublin and its New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport.

The seasonal service will operate until August 19, 2014.

"We are delighted to introduce an additional nonstop service to New York and offer our Irish customers increased flexibility this summer, said Yvonne Muldoon, United's Sales Manager Ireland. "From our hub at New York/Newark, United customers can not only reach downtown Manhattan quickly and easily, but also take advantage of convenient connections to over 300 destinations across the Americas.

United operates the service with Boeing 757-200 aircraft with 169 seats - 16 flat-bed seats in United BusinessFirst and 153 in United Economy, including 45 Economy Plus seats with added legroom and increased personal space.

Flight UA131 departs Dublin Airport daily at 12:55 p.m., arriving in New York/Newark at 3:25 p.m. the same day. The return flight, UA130, departs New York/Newark daily at 10:25 p.m., arriving in Dublin at 10:20 a.m. the following day (all times local). Flight times are seven hours 30 minutes westbound and six hours 55 minutes eastbound.

United also operates year-round service with flight UA22, departing Dublin Airport daily at 9:00 a.m., arriving in New York/Newark at 11:30 a.m. the same day. The return flight, UA23, departs New York/Newark daily at 7:00 p.m., arriving in Dublin at 6:55 a.m. the following day (all times local).

United operates more nonstop flights to the U.S. from the island of Ireland than any other U.S. carrier, with service from Dublin to New York/Newark and Washington/Dulles, from Shannon to New York/Newark and - on a seasonal basis - to Chicago/O'Hare, and from Belfast to New York/Newark.
