Business travellers got good news with the decision of Luxair to continue flights between Luxembourg and Dublin throughout the coming winter.
The carrier made the decision following a successful test phase. Luxair resumed the route at the end of March, three years after the airline decided to discontinue direct flights to Dublin.
Luxair said the route has attracted a large volume of business passengers, "notably in the financial sector and fund industry, but it also remains very popular with leisure passengers and Irish nationals living in Luxembourg".
The four weekly flights, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, will continue beyond the October cut-off date previously announced by Luxair, and will continue throughout the winter. The company will continue to serve the route using a Bombardier Q400.
