Ronan King, one of the founders of Property Industry Ireland, is to join the board of financial services group, CrossCountry Consulting.
Mr King has more than 40 years of experience as an international consultant and senior finance professional in both the private and public sectors.
"We are excited to have Mr. King join our Advisory Board. His deep relationships in both the United States and Ireland, coupled with his professional experience building and leading businesses will provide exceptional insight to our firm and the market," said CrossCountry Co-Founder, Dave Kay.
Mr. King qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG (1975-84) and served more than 18 years as a Senior Partner at BDO Simpson Xavier (1987-05), where he founded and developed the management consulting division, acting for major Irish and international clients.
He then acted as Chairman of The Private Security Authority (2008-12), responsible for licensing and regulating the private security industry in Ireland and as Chairman of Ballymun Regeneration (2008-14), the largest urban regeneration project in Europe.
In 2011, he also helped to establish Property Industry Ireland, acting as the organisation's first Chief Executive Officer, representing a broad spectrum of operators and advisers in Ireland's recovering property and construction sectors. Mr King previously served as council member and past president of the 300-year-old Dublin Chamber of Commerce and as Deputy Chair of the Special Olympics 2003 World Summer Games.
