Udemy, a US-based global provider of online education courses, is to establish a European headquarters in Dublin.
The company is currently recruiting for a number of positions including product managers, senior software engineers and a country manager for Ireland.
The roles will be based at the company's offices in the Digital Hub.
The company will also begin recruiting for multilingual instructors, as part of its European expansion.
The online learning marketplace currently has more than 10,000 instructors teaching 18,000 courses on a range of topics-everything from yoga to photography to Microsoft Excel to Apple's Swift programming language.
Founded by Gagan Biyani, Eren Bali and Oktay Caglar in 2010, Udemy has raised a total of $48 million in venture capital and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
Earlier this year it completed a $32 million Series C funding in a round led by Norwest Venture Partners (NVP).
