The five-star Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort in co Limerick has been placed on the market as a going concern with a guide price of between E25m and E27m.
The selling agent, CBRE Hotels, said that the luxury resort is being offered in three lots: The entire property on 310 ha. (766acres); Adare Manor and Golf Resort on 206 ha. (509 acres) and Agricultural Development Land, extending to 104 ha. (257 acres).
The highly regarded golf course was designed by legendary Robert Trent Jones Senior and for many years was voted the top Parkland Course in Ireland by Golf Digest Ireland Magazine.
Adare Manor, steeped in history, was designed by architect James Pain in 1830 as a residence for the Earl of Dunraven. In 1987 the property was acquired by Tom and Judy Kane who restored the manor and created the hotel, which includes 62 guest bedrooms.
