Further evidence of Ireland economic rebound emerged today as figures show that production for Manufacturing Industries for July 2014 was 12.8 pc higher than in June 2014.
The CSO figures show that, on an annual basis, production for July 2014 increased by 19.9pc when compared with July 2013.
The seasonally adjusted volume of industrial production for Manufacturing Industries for the three months May 2014 to July 2014 was 3.5pc lower than in the preceding three month period.
The "Modern” Sector, comprising a number of high-technology and chemical sectors, showed a monthly increase in production for July 2014 of 11.4pc. There was a monthly increase of 4.7pc in the "Traditional" Sector.
There was an increase of 3.3pc in the seasonally adjusted industrial turnover index for Manufacturing Industries in July 2014 when compared with June 2014.
On an annual basis turnover increased by 18.1pc when compared with July 2013.
