It has been announced today that the Working International Expo is back in Dublin this week and employers from Canada, New Zealand and Australia are travelling will be trying to fill more than 500 roles across a wide range of industry sectors.

In the past two years alone, 1,348 were hired for positions in Canada, Australia and New Zealand as a result of the Working In expo in Dublin.

Canada has a large presence at this year's Working International event in Dublin and is dedicated to Canada's East Coast. Two provinces, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, have joined together to offer a huge range of job opportunities across a wide range of industries.

Furthermore, a noticeable emphasis has been placed on the animation sector as news of Ireland's recent Oscar nominations has brought increased attention to the skills of Irish animators globally. Other jobs on offer will be in the tech and IT, mechanical design engineering, marine engineering, electrical engineering, healthcare, fast-food management and construction and trades.

The Working International Expo takes place in the Clyde Court Hotel, 25th March from 2pm until 7pm. As well as employers from Canada, Australia and New Zealand, representatives will also be present from Immigration New Zealand, Global Immigration and Complete Migration Solutions with information on career opportunities, visa requirements and lifestyle information.

Spencer Hawkes, General Manager, Working In said, "This is the ninth year in a row that many of these employers are returning to recruit in Ireland but this year more than any other, we're noticing a trend of employers specifically seeking Irish workers to fill roles. They want Irish people for the jobs based on the strong reputation Irish workers have built up overseas in the last 10 years of being extremely well educated and hard working.

Two years ago the majority of people who were attending our expo came because they simply couldn't find work in Ireland. The situation has now moved from people needing to emigrate out of necessity, to people wanting to move for greater job opportunities and experience. This puts the emphasis on our exhibitors to provide world class roles for the highly skilled and intelligent work force based here in Ireland.

Incredible professional experience can be gained working on world-class projects abroad. Now more than ever, Irish people are in a position where they can gain invaluable experience abroad that will impact their careers hugely in the long run."
