It was announced today that Dublin has been approved as the latest member of the now 22 location global network of 100 Women in Finance.
100 Women in Finance is a global network of professionals in the finance and alternative investment industries working together to empower women at every stage of their careers. Through peer engagement, philanthropic and educational initiatives, its more than 15,000 members are making connections and creating opportunities that help to advance their careers and strengthen their field.
The organisation was originally founded as 100 Women in Hedge Funds and was re-branded in 2016 as 100 Women in Finance in order to more accurately reflect the broader composition of the organisation's worldwide membership.
According to a PwC report which gathered data from 20 global markets, women comprise nearly 60% of employees in the financial services industry, but less than one in five (19%) progress through the leadership ranks to senior level roles.
The 100 Women in Finance Dublin members are business leaders in the financial services, banking, law and professional services industries. Other global locations for 100 Women in Finance include Bermuda, Boston, Cayman Islands, Geneva, Hong Kong, London, Malta, New York, Paris, Singapore and Washington.

The 100 Women in Finance Dublin launch took place at The National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin.
