Bank of Ireland welcomes new Chief Marketing Officer

It was announced last week that Bank of Ireland has appointed Henry Dummer as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

Henry recently held the position of Group Marketing Director for Consumer and Business at eir. Prior to that, he held the roles of Marketing Director at Tesco Ireland and Customer Marketing Director at Diageo Ireland.  

Before moving to Ireland in 2006, Henry worked in consumer marketing roles at GlaxoSmithKline and Mars UK, successfully managing marketing agendas through periods of growth and change. He will take up his new role at Bank of Ireland on 1 June 2018.
 
Speaking last week, Group Chief Executive at Bank of Ireland, Francesca McDonagh said, "Henry brings a wealth of marketing experience in consumer, digital and business-to-business marketing.  Leading a Group marketing team, he will drive the development of a strong brand for Bank of Ireland, shaping and delivering a differentiated position for the Bank in the markets in which it operates."
