It was announced this week that IKEA has appointed Claudia Marshall as its new Ireland Market Manager.
Originally from Germany, Claudia brings with her over 11 years of in-depth experience working with IKEA. She originally joined IKEA in 2006, contributing to the development of IKEA’s customer distribution business as Customer Distribution Manager for Central Europe and later North Europe.
In 2011, Claudia took the role of Distribution Services Area Manager for North Europe and just last year joined IKEA UK & Ireland as Store Manager in training in Wembley, London.
Claudia will be responsible for growing the IKEA brand in Ireland with IKEA’s co-workers, customers and the wider community at the heart of her focus. Claudia’s responsibility spans across all business activities in the Republic of Ireland including the IKEA store in Ballymun and the Order and Collection Point in Carrickmines.
Speaking off her new role, Claudia said, "I’m delighted to take on the role of Ireland Market Manager for IKEA and build on the excellent work achieved here over the last couple of years. At IKEA, our vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people and I look forward to doing just that by bringing IKEA closer to as many people as possible in Ireland; strengthening our customer experience and working to support and inspire our co-workers."
