Peter Oakes joins TransferMate Global Payments

It was announced today that TransferMate Global Payments have appointed Peter Oakes, the former Director of Enforcement and AML/CTF Supervision at the Central Bank of Ireland to the position of Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. 
 
Peter Oakes has held senior regulatory supervision roles in Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland and Middle-East and senior executive positions in payments and investment services regulated across Europe and the United States. Peter will further bolster TransferMate’s course as they continue to expand into new territories internationally. 
 
TransferMate now boast one of the World’s largest currency settlement networks that provides companies of all sizes and financial institutions with a payments engine to conduct cross border transfers globally - at top speed and lowest cost.
 
Commenting on his appointment, Peter Oakes said, "I am very pleased and excited to have the opportunity to join the Board of TransferMate and I look forward to contributing to the continuing successful strategic growth and expansion of this great international FinTech business."
