Aldi creates 29 new jobs in Bandon and Mullingar

It was announced yesterday that Aldi have opened two new stores in Bandon, Co. Cork and Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.  A total of 29 new jobs have been created at the new stores. 
 
The new Bandon store is Aldi’s 20th store in Co. Cork whilst the new Mullingar store is Aldi’s third in Westmeath. This brings the total number of Aldi stores in Ireland to 126.
 
Aldi’s Group Buying Director, Finbar McCarthy said, "We are delighted to open two new stores today creating 29 new jobs.  We are looking forward to welcoming many new customers from both Bandon and Mullingar to our new stores during the holiday months, where they will find a fantastic range of seasonal groceries including the very best in 100% Irish meat for barbeque season and a new range of sensational summer salads."
