The Irish Independent has today reported that Bank of America could be creating up to 100 jobs as plans to expand its Irish operations are underway.
According to the report, senior executives met with Government officials last week around a plan which may lead to the expansion of its tech and operations global centre of excellence which is based in Ireland.
The move may lead to the creation of jobs but it is too early for confirmation of same or clarity around the number.
However, indications following the meeting suggest that it is in the region of 100 jobs.
This would bring the bank's Irish workforce to over 700.
Bank of America has offices in Leopardstown and Hatch Street in central Dublin with Irish operations headed by Peter Keegan since late 2009.
