The latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey was released today by Manpower Ireland.

The survey is conducted by interviewing a representative sample of 620 Irish employers. All survey participants were asked: “How do you anticipate total employment at your location to change in the three months to the end of September 2015 as compared to the current quarter?”

The survey shows that staffing levels are forecast to grow in ten of the 11 industry sectors evaluated. The Ulster region employers report strongest hiring forecast regionally and the Restaurant and Hotel sector have forecast the strongest employment outlook since 2010.

Employers are reporting a seasonally adjusted Net Employment Outlook of +7% for June to September 2015, five percentage points ahead of the same time frame last year. This figure is also one of the highest registered for Ireland since 2007.

Operations Manager of Manpower Ireland, Jonny Edgar says, "Employer confidence seems to be strengthening in Q3. The fact that employers in 10 out of the 11 sectors surveyed plan to increase staff in the coming months is great news for job seekers.

The Electricity, Gas and Water sector is expected the perform the strongest, which is evident from recent job announcements such as from Siro, which represents a joint venture between ESB and Vodafone."
