Entekra to create 100 jobs in Monaghan

It was announced today that Minister Heather Humphreys will open the European headquarters of Entekra in Monaghan town. The company will will create 100 new high-skilled jobs in the area following an investment announced earlier this year in May 2018. These jobs will be in the areas of design engineering, finance, marketing and customer support.

The Monaghan and California based design, engineering and home manufacturing company provides off-site framing for both residential and commercial construction. They have a specific focus on the U.S. housing market.

Speaking today, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys said, "I am delighted to be here in Monaghan on what is a hugely significant day for the local community, county and country."

She added, "I particularly welcome the company’s strong commitment to investing in staff training and skills development. It is very encouraging for graduates, school leavers and job hunters to know that there are now more great opportunities to stay in Monaghan and get high-quality, well-paid jobs at exciting companies like Entekra. I have no doubt that this is the start of a long and fruitful relationship between Entekra and Monaghan, and that Entekra will reach new heights with its European HQ in Monaghan."
