Fastway Couriers today announced that it is recruiting over 600 seasonal roles, including drivers and warehouse staff throughout Ireland.

The company reported that unprecedented online growth is driving demand for parcel deliveries across Ireland, and are looking to recruit drivers and warehouse staff throughout its Irish network.

CEO for Fastway Couriers, Danny Hughes said: “Seasonal uplifts aren’t new to us, so the decision to invest in hiring 600 seasonal colleagues and drivers was an easy one. It cements out vision and our continued commitment to our customers, to deliver a cost-effective, reliable, top-quality service, and this is especially important during peak period.”

Although the last few years has seen an increase in parcel services, Fastway Couriers cite COVID-19 as the reason for the current extra boost in demand.

The company expects parcel deliveries to increase by over 60% in the last quarter of this year, compared to the same period last year.
