The Irish Software Awards took place last Friday night at the Double Tree Hotel, Dublin.
Almost 70 of Ireland’s leading software and digital technology firms entered this year’s awards, which was addressed by US-based Matt Mullenweg, founding developer of WordPress and the founder of Automattic.
Globoforce was named ISA Digital Technology Company of the Year. The company is a provider of cloud-based human capital management services, which provide employees with the ability to recognise and rewards the good work of colleagues. In doing so, Globoforce helps companies build a strong culture of employee recognition and engagement.
The company employs over 170 people in Ireland.
Other award winners on the night were Asavie, S3 Group, Silvercloud Health, Drop, FINEOS, IBM Ireland and Trinity College Dublin.
