Irish unemployment rate falls to 10 year low of 5.3%

Ireland's unemployment rate fell to a fresh 10-year low of 5.3% in October from 5.4% in September, the central statistics office said on Wednesday.

The jobless rate has fallen from 6.6% a year ago and a financial crisis-peak of 16% in 2012, when Ireland was midway through a three-year international bailout. (Reuters)
