Irish unemployment rate unchanged at 5.3% in December

Ireland's unemployment rate remained at a 10-year low of 5.3% in December, the central statistics office said on Tuesday.

The jobless rate has fallen from 6.4% a year ago and a financial crisis-peak of 16% in 2012, when Ireland was midway through a three-year international bailout. (Reuters)
