More than €2.5bn invested in Irish commercial real estate in 2017

More than €2.5 billion was invested in commercial real estate in the Republic during the last 12 months in more than 214 individual investment transactions extending to more than €1 million.

This is according to Commercial property consultants, CBRE Ireland who today released statistics on the volume of investment spend in the Irish market during 2017.

While a number of other transactions may yet sign before December 31st, the outturn for the year to date is in excess of €2.5 billion, with the sale of The Square shopping centre in Tallaght being the largest investment transaction signed in the last 12 month period.
