Three Dublin SMEs awarded EU funding

A trio of Dublin-based enterprises are to receive EU grants of between €2.5m and €5m.

Under the latest round of EU ‘Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Phase 2’ funding announced today innovative small firms are supported in getting products from the lab to the market.

The Fund is also committed to help generate growth and jobs in Europe wide.

The three grant winning Irish SMEs are:

•    Artomatix Limited, with their Project: ArtomatixSuite - An innovative 3D content generation solution for digital artists
•    Nuritas Ltd with their Project: PeptiEUForce - PeptiEUForce: a game-changing ingredient for the pre-diabetic population
•    SiriusXT Ltd with their Project: SMILE - Synchrotron Miniaturization enabling Innovative Laboratory Equipment in soft x-ray tomography

The new funding will support activities such as demonstration, testing, piloting, scaling up and miniaturisation.

The companies involved in the projects will also benefit from 12 days of business coaching.


With the inclusion of the trio 19 Irish SMEs have been granted Phase 2 funding under the SME Instrument since its launch in 2014
