The annual Institute of Creative Advertising and Design (ICAD) awards took place in Vicar Street last night.

The awards were established to recognise the creative work of Ireland’s most talented advertising and design agencies. Over 560 advertising, craft and design pieces were entered into the awards across print, digital, TV/cinema and radio.

Rothco, An Post and the Irish Examiner were just some of the winners celebrated at last nights awards.

Managing Director at ICAD, Elaine McDevitt said, "Once again the standard of entries was really high demonstrating some serious creative talent from agencies in Ireland. To have your work commended is a great achievement in itself and the winners can take great pride in the work they entered.

When you want to stand out amongst the myriad of media competing for people’s attention nothing speaks more clearly, or leaves a more lasting impression, than a great idea. This year those ideas were in abundance and ICAD is delighted to continue to reward and recognise these through our awards."
