You’ll no longer depend on your boss to give you orders to do this or do that. As the owner of your own company, you’ll be the one to guide yourself to do all the right things necessary to succeed in your venture. And that is where business ethics come in…

You must determine your rate, learn the workings of the industry, and know when to accept and when to decline a project, organize your writing schedules, and above all, be disciplined. Like the carat weight in determining the value of a diamond, you must be conscious of the value you offer your client to be able to portray your worth in the marketplace.

Freelance writing is on the rise, and that is mainly because the commerce is very flexible. Many people are joining the business not just because it’s easy to setup, but because the market is booming. You can invest some time to learn about the business, and join the millions of freelance writers who have already made it in the industry.
