The final line-up of speakers was announced yesterday for An Post’s Annual Grow My Business Conference 2016.

The conference will take place in Croke Park Stadium on Tuesday 18th October and in the Clarion Hotel Cork on Thursday 20th October.

This time around the topic is “Turning Ideas into Income” and includes a stellar line up of influential speakers including Dragon’s Den star, Alison Cowzer along with Wheels Couriers and WorldBOX owner, Bernie Kinsella.

A panel of leading expert speakers will explore the challenges facing small to medium business owners to help them identify and capitalise on exciting opportunities.

Bernie Kinsella will kick off proceedings with her practical advice for business owners looking to grow, followed by Patricia Callan from the Small Firms Association who will be speaking on the changing face of Europe and what it could mean for an Irish Business owner.

After a speed-networking session, the conference will continue with an idea generation session from Gary Brown Chairman of advertising agency Target McConnells and will conclude with a practical session on how innovation drives income.

Attendees will also hear from one of Ireland’s most successful business people and Dragon’s Den star Alison Cowzer of East Coast Bakehouse.

Each speaker will give interactive presentations followed by a lively Q&A session hosted by TV3/Newstalk presenter, Colette Fitzpatrick.

Head of Post Media at An Post, Fiona Heffernan commented, "Ireland is in a growth phase, but continuation of this growth is subject to a number of factors. Changes in Europe and our small open economy will be key economic influences in the short to medium term."

She added, "With these challenges in mind the An Post Grow My Business conference is focused on identifying and capitalising on the opportunities which exist right now by giving the tools and ideas to Irish business owners to achieve optimum results in terms of income."
