Bank of America Merrill Lynch yesterday hosted a Global Forum in Dublin. The event convenes stakeholders and thought leaders from all around the world to discuss contemporary issues concerning women driving economic and social progress.
Bank of America announced last year that it had chosen Dublin as its location for its EU bank. Anne Finucane is Chairman and Bruce Thompson is CEO. Previous forums have been held in Haiti, South Africa, India, Singapore, Brazil, Qatar, Mexico, Northern Ireland, Poland, Japan, the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States.
A number of senior, influential and leading women in business from around the world shared their insights, including Anne Finucane (Chairman, Bank of America Merrill Lynch Europe and Vice Chairman, Bank of America), Martha Stewart (Author, TV Personality, Founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia), Monica McWilliams (Former Politician and Chief Commissioner for Human Rights in Northern Ireland), Maureen Orth (Journalist, Special Correspondent for Vanity Fair and Author), Louise Kennedy (Irish international fashion designer) and Cherie Blair CBE QC (Founder of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women).
