It was announced today that Bluebird Care will create over 370 jobs in its 26 offices across the country in the coming month. This will grow its health and social care team by over 20%.

Bluebird Care was set up in Ireland in 2007 to provide accessible, quality, safe care for individuals of all ages and varying degrees of ability. It has 26 offices throughout Ireland providing health and social care services within the home setting and local community.

Bluebird Care provides direct care to customers on behalf of the HSE and other agencies as requested. It also provides services to customers in a private capacity at the request of the individual/family member.

Welcoming the announcement of the creation of the new roles, Tánaiste and Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Frances Fitzgerald TD said, "I am delighted that Bluebird Care is expanding its workforce by creating 370 new roles. Indeed, I am especially pleased to see the creation of jobs across the country. Bluebird Care's commitment to training local people to care for vulnerable people in their homes provides an important service to communities. I wish Bluebird Care the very best with their expansion across the country."
